About The Event
Portraits of Resilience: Surviving NOVA Festival Terror Attack
Join us for a special community event and hear the personal story of Rom El-Hai, Â a survivor of the October 7th Massacre - the single worst invasion and terror attack the State of Israel has known since its founding.
The event features exclusive photos and videos from that terrible day.
In the lecture, Rom describes in a chilling way how moments of joy by young party goers were brutally replaced by sheer terror as the shooting began, and the murder of hundreds of civilians and party revelers continued for hours.
His human instinct to survive kicked in, but the difficult sights and nightmares linger on and continue to haunt him to this day as he and other survivors move through the surreal journey of personal and collective rehabilitation.
This program is appropriate for ages 14 and above.
